A collection of new writing from emerging LGBTQ+ theatre-makers from across the North West.
OUT LOUD: An Anthology of Queer Northern Stories
Join us for a journey through stories, in collaboration with exciting LGBTQ+ artists from across Greater
Manchester. We’re asking what it means to be LGBTQ+ and Northern and questioning how those bold,
brilliant identities interact.
We’ve curated an anthology of Queer Northern writing and gathered some vibrant voices to present
these stories. From cabaret to hidden heroes, drag kings and one-night stands, we’re celebrating LGBTQ+
voices from across history and today across two glorious evenings.
We are presenting eight pieces of new writing from some exciting LGBTQ+ writers we've worked with, alongside a cast of new and emerging performers from across the North West.
All the pieces will be the same each night.
(Some pieces contain strong language, discussions of death and suicide, sex and abuse)
